Prayer for Mum

Mum is scheduled for an operation tomorrow (23/09/10).  I am looking for spiritual comfort in the following prayer...

"Loving Father, I entrust my mum to your care; guide with wisdom and skill

the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that

every cause of illness be removed, mum may be restored to soundness of health and

learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around her. Through

Jesus Christ. Amen."


Visited mum today (23/09/10) around 1.30pm.  She seemed to be doing fine and I am relieved.  Thank you Lord..

God has done His part, so has the medical team..now it's healing time & for us children to nurse her back to health.  (24/09/10)

Mum was discharged from hospital..staying with me

Got a walking frame and glad that I am able to take care of mum when she needs me..  (28/09/10)

I think mum is slowly getting stronger, but still a long way to go before she fully recovers..(30/09/10)

Frequent urination at night & wake up once every night to change...(01/10/10)

Real busy weekend - spending time with hubby & kids, errands and chores, taking care of mum with more relief shifts from dad & bro..(02 & 03/10/10)

Mum went to local clinic for dressing & is eager to have cast removed... however that depends on the doctor's approval.  See what the good doctor says this Monday (07/10/10)

If every one does their part, there'll be peace & harmony...essential elements for mum's recovery. (08/10/10)

Mum has finally gone back for the weekend after almost 2 weeks with me.  Hope the good doctor will give her the green light to remove the cast for easier mobility etc...(09/10/10)

Mum had her cast replaced after seeing the doctor on Monday (11/10/10).  She still has to wear the cast for most of this month in order to heal..I was so tired the last 2 days that I slept for hours after kids went to school.  The caregiver has recuperated :') ... (13/10/10)
