Mid Year Vacation'09

My family and I recently visited Penang. It was almost 11 years since I last visited the place. Hubby and I anticipated a very hot tour round the island but we were pleasantly surprised by the showers of rain to cool off the visit.

I realised Penang has few main roads connected to many little lanes which can contribute to the confusion for tourists like us driving round the island.

This however, does not stop us from visiting the main tourist attraction like the Khoo Kongsi on our 1st evening, the next day we visited the Wat Chiya Mangalaram and Kek Lok Si while on our last morning we visited the Botanical Garden.

The food was good and overall the visit was refreshing! We took many photos for memory sake and I personally hope to have many more of this kind of short breaks with my family...
